Experience:
· Tertiary qualification in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, Social Science or a related field
· 3 – 5 years in field and headquarters coordination
· Knowledge and experience of counseling theories and case management
· Experience in working with children and families
· Experience in working with clients experiencing trauma
· Experience and knowledge in working with issues with mental health, domestic violence, child protection and/or drug and alcohol abuse
· Experience, knowledge or willingness to learn about the systems, procedures and ways to work with other key stakeholders and NGOs
· Minimum 5 years living in India and fluent in Hindi
Responsibilities:**
· Lead and manage counselors and social workers
· Facilitate weekly case management meetings with social workers and counselors
· Provide monthly individual supervision to counselors and social workers
· Conduct monthly group supervision with the social work and counseling team
· Provide guidance and support in effective case management practices
· Provide guidance and support in effective counseling, especially trauma therapy
· Complete regular performance reviews with the staff
· Assist in compiling quarterly sponsorship reports and other reports as needed
· Document client information and maintaining client records, ensuring that information are kept up to date for the use of sponsorship or other requirements from Program Manager and other regulating bodies
· Oversee life skill training program
· Assist in outreach to training participants
- Assist in the gathering of statistics and calculating beneficiaries of the program
- Provide regular training and professional development to both social workers and counselors
- Enroll staff in external training sessions when appropriate
- Attend and coordinate social benefit type of training for Nomi beneficiary
- Meet weekly with the Program Manager and other team leaders
- Help facilitate weekly all-staff meeting & monthly SHG meeting
- Assist in the development of resources, assessments, forms, and training guides for staff
Regularly audit client files and support staff in the improvement of documentation
Facilitate staff to complete monthly updates
Attend meetings with other organizations for networking and/or case conferences
Implement other tasks as identified by the Program Manager
Criteria:**
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Superior administrative capacity to, with minimal oversight, multitask and manage projects
- Experience managing the schedule and conducting travel advance work
- Excellent written and oral communication
- Proven success in managing internal and external relationships
- Demonstrated ability to earn and maintain a collaborative and trustworthy work environment
- High level of proficiency with Microsoft Office (including Word, Excel, PPT), experience with In-design is a plus.
