Chemonics seeks a mid- to senior-level senior project manager to support the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis, and Malaria (The Global Fund) in India. Under the anticipated 13-week In-Country Supply Chain Diagnostic Activity, the manager will assess the supply chain systems in the states of Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Bihar, and Uttar Pradesh to help programs have a clearer picture of supply chain operations, identify performance issues, and understand root causes of performance bottlenecks. We are looking for individuals who have a passion for making a difference in the lives of people around the world.
Responsibilities include:
- Supervise a team of four consultants
- Finalize the report covering mapping of the current supply chain
- Synthesize report findings
- Develop cost supply chain transformation
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in supply chain, pharmacy, or related field
- Minimum 20 years of experience leading cross functional teams and successful supply chain transformation projects
- Deep knowledge of health supply chain systems in India, international NGOs, donors, and experience communicating with high-level host government officials
- Demonstrated expertise in a number of supply chain related areas such as HIV, tuberculosis, malaria, and global health systems strengthening, including but not limited to: supply chain management, logistics, information systems and data visibility, stock security and traceability, forecasting and quantification, procurement, warehousing and inventory management, quality assurance/quality monitoring, and procurement and sourcing
- Knowledge of organizational development and change management
- Strong knowledge of human resources for logistics operations
- Experience with pharmaceutical supply chain mapping
- Knowledge of Global Fund rules and regulations and experience managing a Global Fund activity highly preferred
- Demonstrated leadership, versatility, and integrity
- Excellent communication, writing, and visual presentation skills required
