Our target groups include out of school children; children of construction workers; street children; children of tribal groups; children with disability; youth from marginalized communities and duty bearers linked to the lives of these children.

Our approach involves working with local communities, civil society actors and public institutions that are in direct contact with children and young adults – without substituting for, or playing the role of, the State. We are positioned and committed toward enabling and ensuring children’s rights in India, particularly in Maharashtra.

Job description

  • Prepare results and rights based concept notes, project proposals and budgets in collaboration with partner organizations. Maintaining timelines and adhering to the best practices and quality processes.
  • Prepare monitoring reports (technical and budgetary) and support partners in documenting all the aspects of implementation and reporting comprehensively to Fundación Educación y Cooperación
  • Validate all projects reports after due analysis, review and follow up ensuring coherence and relevance in narrative reports and integration with financial reports for quality project management.
  • Effectively conduct program monitoring and evaluations to improve program performance, and program status report.
  • Ensure Rights-based and results-based programming approach fully incorporated into all phases of program and projects processes.
  • Work with program team and partners to design and enhance M&E tools, indicators, protocols, surveys and evaluation instruments to strengthen quality data collection, analysis and reporting on projects.
  • Contribute to the development of Country Strategy Plan through providing assessments, reviews, good practices, lessons learnt and innovative strategies.
  • Actively contribute to planning and coordinating state level events, possible collaborations/networks or alliances with guidance from the line manager, head of programs.

Qualifications of successful candidate

  • Masters degree in Social Sciences/Social Work or related fields.
  • Minimum 3-8 years of professional work experience in program design planning, monitoring and evaluating projects, interfacing with the government and other stakeholders. Initiative, ability to analyze and focus on outcome will be required to fulfil the role.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills in English and knowledge of local languages is desirable.
  • Should be willing and able to travel extensively.
