Coordinator – Learning and Partnerships

DIMENSIONS:

 Developing, sharing and improving learning, partnerships and knowledge content at RedR India and among its stakeholders

 Influencing the development of various strategies to implement RedR’s mandate and fulfilling its strategic goal.

 Ensuring effective communication and coordination with internal and external stakeholder for effective

functioning of RedR’s partnership and learning function.

 Managing and evolving all learning resources and knowledge processes of RedR India.

 Providing professional advice and support to senior managers on areas of work covered in their remit.

 Managing and advising RedR India’s partnerships and associations.

 Partaking in the delivery of RedR India’s programmatic deliverables.

 Ensuring RedR India is up-to-date with legal compliances related to CSR framework existent in the country and exploring CSR funds for promoting RedR India’s mandate.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

MANAGEMENT AND STRATEGIC WORK

 Ensuring the optimal functioning and performance of the partnerships function through external relations, outreach to donors and partners, networks, communications and branding with the line manager and portfolio team members. This will require ensuring day to day liaison internally and externally as emergent.

 Conceptualising, drafting and presenting RedR India’s work internally and externally and engaging with stakeholders, partners, networks and donors in humanitarian and DRM sectors.

 Acting as a point person for liaison between RedR and all its stakeholders towards developing understanding and perspective on DRM work of RedR nationally and globally.

 Representing and negotiating for RedR India with partners, stakeholders, clients and donors.

 Acting as the focal point for inter-RedR coordination across the different RedR federation entities.

 Representing and promoting the work of RedR, its values, mandate and functions independently or in support of the CEO and Programme Portfolios across existing and new networks, platforms and stakeholders virtually and in person.

PROGRAMME WORK

 Drafting, finalising and tracking RedR India’s programmes, bids and proposals as an institutional focal point for partnerships.

 Work with the programme team to prepare and regularly update internal tracking and monitoring tools including partnership reporting.

 Leading and/or supporting on all Monitoring and Evaluation work internally including institutional certifications and compliances and collaborating with Programme Team for external work.

 Contributing to programme services of RedR India, both projects and training, as needed.

 Developing, conceptualising and executing flagship initiatives of RedR India in coordination with programme portfolios.

 Networking with the project partners to ensure enhanced hand-holding support and sustaining organisational linkage with staff, clients, donors and members.

PORTFOLIO WORK

 Coordinate, manage and support in developing and creating RedR India’s communication and knowledge building products, online and on paper, as a member of the Learning and Partnership Portfolio with the CEO.

 Proactively inform the senior management with contemporary developments vis-à-vis statutory requirements in the CSR framework of country mandated under Section 135 of the Companies Act (2013).

 Partake in CSR compliances of RedR India, thereby ensuring RedR India is eligible and able to avail the vast pool of CSR funds in the territory of India.

 Proactively update and inform clients and engage on the CSR platforms for advancing RedR India’s mandate and foster, develop, nurture partnerships with different corporate stakeholders.

 Supporting and contributing to building of a robust and relevant RedR India Roster as a fulcrum for all programme and learning action at RedR India.

 Working closely with L&P team members to ensure efficient and timely actions of the L&P portfolio.

 Matrix and line management of L&P portfolio team members either wholly or partially as agreed with the

CEO/Line Manager.

 Working closely with L&P team members to fulfil institutional communication, reporting and learning outputs like newsletters, annual report, portfolio documents, social media, website etc.

Mi**scellaneous**

 Supporting RedR India functions and other responsibilities, as deemed fit by the CEO.

 To report regularly, verbally and in writing to the Line Manager/CEO, RedR India.

 To be familiar with and abide by the NGO/Red Cross Code of Conduct, International Humanitarian Standards etc.

SKI**LLS AND COMPETENCE:**

 Previous work experience of programme service management (human resources, finance, information management), networking and donor relations in commercial, industrial, emergency and/or development context essential.

 A masters or higher qualification in a relevant subject is an essential requirement.

 Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and a proven ability to be flexible in demanding situations.

 Excellent personnel management skills with the ability to demonstrate skills in working with a multi-disciplined and multi-cultural team.

 Ability to conceptualise, deliberate, debate and synthesise from ideas, practices and processes.

 Sound planning and management skills with ability to manage multiple tasks.

 Diplomacy, tact and negotiation skills.

 Ability to research and develop analytical written material and the ability to handle multiple priorities

 Effective decision making and strategic planning ability.

 Commitment to quality, responsibility, high work standards, initiative and drive.

 Knowledge of Sphere standards, CHS and the Red Cross Code of Conduct.

 Sympathy with the aims and objectives of RedR.

 Experience and understanding of integrating gender and diversity issues into humanitarian and DRM work
